In all honesty it’s still not that wonderful when it comes to race. The “good” character is the little blond girl and the darker you get in skin tone, the more the likely it is for that character to be a thug or a whore (I love whores don’t get me wrong but still the stereotype is there). But that is anime for you, this is considered pretty progressive for anime.
The story line is wonderful and I can’t stop watching it!
Honest, I’m just excited there are dark skinned people IN IT. *starts watching it* I’ll report back in a bit once I’ve actually watched more.

This show is pretty amazing. An anime set in South America with a bunch of badass POC leads? I mean, why wouldn’t you want to check that out? It’s definitely worth a look at the very least.
